Creative Arts Teacher (Primary) – PPA Superstar Wanted
St Stephens Primary, Bath

Think big. Create wild. Ditch the worksheet.

We’re looking for an imaginative, inspiring, and wildly creative arts teacher who believes primary school children deserve more than glue sticks and dry PowerPoints. You’ll lead bold, active, and joyful arts sessions that get children thinking, moving, making — and remembering your lessons for life.

You’ll be joining a well-established NOVUS team at St Stephens, who already deliver PE, Music, and Forest School— bringing energy, consistency, and creativity to the school every week.

This isn’t your standard classroom job. It’s playful, purposeful, and packed with potential.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver curriculum-based Creative Arts PPA sessions with energy and flair — using our lesson plans as your launchpad
  • Bring art to life with movement, storytelling, music and outdoor inspiration
  • Help children develop confidence and creative voice through exciting projects that span drawing, performance, drama, and craft
  • Be the highlight of their week — a teacher who brings joy and expression into every lesson

You’re Perfect for This If You:

  • Have experience leading arts or drama sessions in schools, clubs or youth settings
  • Thrive on variety, noise, and the energy of young minds
  • Love designing sessions that are off-the-wall, inclusive, and memorable
  • Are organised, creative, and confident managing a class solo
  • Hold a current DBS and ideally a full driving licence
