About ARU:

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lecturer in Fine Art to work on the undergraduate course across year groups and modules at Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University. Based at the Cambridge Campus.
This is a fixed term role from Sept 2026 – end of July 2027 and will have a focus on teaching and assessment delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include module leadership, design and planning. Teaching across modules and year groups on interdisciplinary Fine Art modules. Delivering workshops and lectures on Fine Art practice.
You will lead on the assessment of student work at both formative and summative stage, and be comfortable working with External Examiners, and assessment systems and processes.
With an undergraduate, and postgraduate qualification in relevant areas such as Fine Art practice, and you will maintain a creative practice of your own.
Your approach will be student focussed, you will have experience implementing successful ways of developing curricula. and will be familiar with innovative pedagogy in this area. You will need to have the ability to lead modules, lead workshops and seminars, and critiques
You will need a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as comfort with other digital platforms related to teaching including VLE.
