Artworker (Pre-press)

£21.5k – £26k depending on experience

Bspoqe Displays is a dynamic, entrepreneurial Design & Display Solutions Business, which provides its clients with a unique, end to end service. Products range from building wraps and illuminated signage, to retail displays and props.

Responsibilities include:

· Creating & producing pre-production artworks for large format digital print

· Creating & producing pre-production cutting paths for CNC/Zund/Laser Cutter

· Creating high quality visual packs & proofs for client QC

· Adapting existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats

· Responsible for own file accuracy, following the studio archiving system & inhouse library

· Supporting colour & print profiling

· Management of studio workflow & client deadlines

· Management of quality control of own artwork output

· Supporting social media content

You will have a good working knowledge and experience of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop. You will have excellent communication skills, be well presented with a professional, positive approach to all aspects of the role.

You will also be asked to get involved in the work of other departments, so you need to be adaptable and willing and able to learn new skills.

You will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

· Ability to take instructions and follow direction

· Ability to problem solve and think on your feet and know when to ask for help

· Good interpersonal skills and great team working ability.

· Good eye for detail.

· Creative flare

· Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to work.

· Well organised with effective verbal and written communication skills

· Good awareness of health and safety legislation and required H&S practises.

· Has a great ‘can do’ attitude.

· Takes pride in work.

You will be based at our production and head office facility at Ossett which is located just off junction 40 of the M1. Your normal workdays will be Mon-Fri. Your work hours will fall between 8am and 6pm subject to the business requirements.
