Full job description
Position title: General Manager
(12 Month FTC- Maternity Cover)
Location : Wimbledon mainline station (SW19 7NE)
Pay: £39,000.00–£44,000.00 per year
Plus a completion bonus of £1,500–£2,000 upon successfully completing the 12-month maternity cover period (subject to terms).
General Manager (Maternity Cover - 12 month FTC):
Served Coffee & Juice Wimbledon is a well-established and popular independent coffee shop in the heart of Wimbledon. It's a stone's throw from Wimbledon mainline station (SW19 7NE). We serve premium drinks and make homemade artisan coffee and delicious shakes, freshly baked goods and sandwiches.
With further exciting plans for more sites opening under the Served Brand to be rolled out across London in the coming years. Recently nominated for best independent coffee shop 2025 in South West London & Surrey by Time and Leisure.

This is a GM - maternity cover position, and we are now looking for an exceptional General Manager to take it to the next level. As the role is for maternity cover there is completion bonus of £1,500-2,000 after 12 months.
This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain. It is for someone who wants to shape, build, and lead.
The opportunity:
Motivate and empower staff to perform at their best, fostering a positive, collaborative work culture
Own the store’s financial performance—track KPIs, manage costs, and identify opportunities for growth and drive efficiency
Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards, including daily due diligence and EHO requirements
Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout the coffee shop
Collaborate with senior leadership to align your café’s performance with company-wide goals, values and vision
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team Implement clear systems and processes that drive consistency and efficiency
Raise standards across service, product, and customer experience
Drive revenue growth through commercial thinking
Bring energy to the coffee shop, creating an environment that people feel comfortable in
Create a culture that turns customers into a loyal community
