Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our organisation.
We're particularly interested in hearing from individuals with a strong analyst background, especially those holding RSPH or BOHS qualifications in Asbestos Analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Asbestos related training programmes and assessing learners’ progress to ensure they meet Asbestos industry standards and organisational requirements.

Duties
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to diverse learner needs across various subjects or skills.
- Assess learners’ competence through practical observations, written tests, and portfolio reviews, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes in compliance with organisational policies.
- Support learners throughout their training journey by offering guidance, motivation, and additional assistance where necessary.
- Ensure all training activities adhere to relevant regulatory standards and organisational quality assurance procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve training materials and methodologies.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, training techniques, and assessment practices to maintain professional competence.
Skills
- Proven experience in delivering training programmes and conducting assessments within a recognised framework.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple learners and programmes effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of current Asbestos industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to vocational education or specialised fields.
- Ability to motivate learners and foster a positive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems for planning, delivery, and record keeping.
Relevant qualifications such as:
- RSPH Level 3 Award in Air Monitoring and Clearance Procedures or
- BOHS Air Sampling and Fibre Counting (PCM) P403
- a recognised trainer or assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1 or equivalent) are highly desirable. This role is ideal for professionals committed to fostering growth through education whilst maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
Pay: £43,000.00 per year
