Job Overview

Trainee Asbestos Removal Operative

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Trainee Asbestos Removal Operative.

No previous asbestos experience is required, as full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, has a good work ethic and, most importantly, is reliable and committed to turning up for work every day.

The successful applicant will work alongside our experienced asbestos removal operatives, gaining practical experience and learning how to carry out asbestos removal works safely.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced operatives with asbestos removal works.
  • Help with setting up and preparing work areas.
  • Learn how to use tools, equipment and protective clothing safely.
  • Follow instructions and all health and safety procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
  • Work as part of a team and be willing to learn new skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

No previous experience or qualifications in asbestos removal are necessary.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is reliable, punctual and committed to working five days a week.
  • Has a positive attitude and a willingness to work.
  • Is hardworking and happy to get involved in practical, hands-on work.
  • Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
  • Is willing to undertake all necessary training.
  • Takes health and safety seriously.
  • Applicants must be 18+.

Previous experience in construction or working with hand tools would be an advantage but is not essential.

Full training will be provided, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to learn a trade and develop a career within the asbestos removal industry.

Pay: £27,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
