The Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor in the London or Kent area to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Conducting high-quality asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in accordance with HSG264.

Producing accurate, detailed survey reports within agreed timeframes .

Providing clear, professional advice and reassurance to clients.

Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition (R&D), and Bulk Sampling surveys in accordance with HSG 264 and UKAS standards.
• Deliver detailed, compliant reports using TEAMS asbestos software (training provided if required).
• Provide professional communication and technical advice to clients.
• Maintain excellent attention to detail, ensuring all surveys meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Work both independently and as part of a small team, with flexibility for travel and occasional out-of-hours work.

Experience & Requirements

• BOHS P402 (or equivalent) certification.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification field experience.
• Experience across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Knowledge of asbestos regulations, construction legislation, and health & safety compliance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Current site card (CSCS preferred) or willingness to obtain immediately.

Additional qualifications such as BOHS S301 or CoCA are advantageous but not essential.
