Labourer / Asbestos Operative

Location: Uckfield
Rate: £15 - £18 per hour
Start: ASAP

We are currently looking for an experienced Labourer / Site Operative to carry out hand picking of asbestos-containing materials on a construction site.

You will be required to work safely as part of a team, following all site procedures and asbestos control measures.

Requirements:

  • Previous construction site experience
  • Cat B Asbestos Removal – 1 Day Course
  • Asbestos Awareness – Online Course
  • Face Fit Tested for the required RPE
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Reliable and able to follow instructions
  • CSCS or relevant site qualification may be required

What We Provide:

  • Correct PPE provided for the work
  • Support with completing the online Asbestos Awareness course
  • Assistance with arranging the required Face Fit Test
  • Support with getting the necessary training in place
