Senior Commercial Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Essex
Salary & Benefits: £42,000 basic plus overtime + company vehicle, fuel card + flexible working + 31 days holidays + development training + Lots of local work in Essex + health care + sickness pay amongst other excellent benefits.
An exciting opportunity for a commercial asbestos surveyor has arisen, due to internal promotions within our growing and vibrant Essex office. This will give you the opportunity to grow your skills with real opportunities for development with the business with real career progression.
All staff at AEC have the opportunity to train and development in many avenues of the business, so much so all senior positions are those of staff who have developed internally to Project Managers, Auditors, Mentors, senior analysts, Senior Surveyors, Planning Mangers amongst others.

Responsibilities
At least P402 qualified and ideally with a background of working in a UKAS accredited consultancy, you will have a track record of undertaking a range of surveys across commercial properties. You will have experience conducting Reinspection, management and refurbishment surveys in commercial buildings and ideally experience in demolition surveys.

Responsibilities
- Carry out surveys on commercial properties.
- Work with an assistant surveyor onsite who will enter all information onto a tablet, create survey plans, tag and bag samples for you – leaving you to dedicate your time to surveying the areas within a building.
- Time given off site to check all your reports – which can be from home or the office.
- Understand the requirements of an asbestos survey.
- Be fully competent in carrying out all types of surveys on commercial premises.
- Be a good communicator with your team and clients alike.
- Be a team player where working away and weekend work is shared fairly amongst the team.
