Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Asbestos Removal specialist to join our specialised team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely removing asbestos materials from various sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities

  • Safely remove asbestos-containing materials from buildings, roofs, and other structures in accordance with legal and safety guidelines
  • Prepare work sites by setting up containment areas and ensuring proper ventilation
  • Use specialised equipment and tools to carefully dismantle or encapsulate asbestos materials
  • Follow strict health and safety procedures throughout all operations to minimise risk of exposure
  • Dispose of asbestos waste in accordance with environmental regulations
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials removed and waste disposal documentation
  • Collaborate with other construction or renovation teams as required to ensure smooth project progression

Experience

  • Previous experience in asbestos removal or related hazardous material handling is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction or demolition work
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to hazardous materials
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in potentially challenging environments
