Fire Door Installation Teams – Southampton Schools Project (Price Work)

We are currently recruiting for experienced Fire Door Installation Teams to work on a school project in Southampton.

This is a price work opportunity involving the removal of existing fire door sets and the installation of new fire door sets. All works must be completed in accordance with BM TRADA standards, project specifications, and current fire safety regulations.

Rates:

• £200.00 per single door (including removal of the existing door and frame, and installation of the new door and frame)
• £300.00 per double door (including removal of the existing door and frame, and installation of the new door and frame)

Duties Include:

• Removal of existing fire doors and frames
• Installation of new fire door sets
• Installation of ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks, seals, and signage
• Ensuring all works comply with BM TRADA standards and fire safety regulations
• Recording completed works with photographic evidence submitted via WhatsApp
• Working safely and professionally within an occupied school environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing fire door sets
• BM TRADA accreditation (essential)
• Valid CSCS Card
• Enhanced DBS Check (essential)
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate (essential)
• Own tools
• Full 5-point PPE
• Ability to read drawings and specifications
• Ability to work independently and complete works to programme

Project Details:

• School project in Southampton
• Approximately 80–100 door sets
• Approximately 6-week programme
• Photographic evidence required for every completed installation
