Full job description
About TBS FM:
Established in Nottingham in 2014, TBS delivers facility management, refurbishment and construction services across the Midlands and beyond. Our clients come back to us because we finish complex jobs on time, on budget and to a standard we are proud of.
We offer more than 15 services, including hard and soft FM, compliance work, full refurbishments, design and build, groundworks and sports pitch construction. We have deep specialist experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools and colleges, and we look after properties for Ofsted-registered children's residential care providers.
Recent projects include school bathroom renovations, kitchen refurbishments, sensory rooms, complete SEN school renovations and two grade 2 listed building projects, with projects varying from £100,000 to £4,000,000-£5,000,000.
The Role:
You will take bathrooms from strip-out to handover, handling the plumbing, tiling and joinery yourself so each job is finished properly with one pair of hands. If you take pride in high-quality craftsmanship and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.Much of the work is in occupied, sensitive settings such as schools, SEN colleges and children's homes. Bathrooms there need to be robust, safe and easy to keep clean, and you will need to work tidily and respectfully around staff and young people.Alongside bathrooms, you will pick up wider joinery and repair work on our maintenance contracts, so no two weeks are the same.

- Follow RAMS, safeguarding procedures and site rules, especially in schools and care settings
- Keep a clean, organised and secure work area, protecting occupied spaces from dust and hazards
- Diagnose problems on site and agree solutions with your supervisor
