Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Northampton (with regular travel required)

Salary: £40,000 – £41,000 per annum + Company Vehicle

Asbestos Surveying & Monitoring Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. This role will involve carrying out asbestos surveying and analytical services across a range of sites and projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and in line with relevant industry standards and regulations.

The position is based in Northampton, with regular travel to sites across different locations required as part of the role. A company vehicle will be provided.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, professional, and reliable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

• BOHS P402 qualification or equivalent essential for asbestos surveying
• BOHS P403 qualification or equivalent essential
• BOHS P404 qualification or equivalent essential
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst preferred
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly for work
• Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, guidance, and industry standards
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• A professional and reliable approach to work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Remuneration:

£40,000 – £41,000 per annum, with a company vehicle provided.

Key Responsibilities:

The Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:

• Carrying out asbestos surveys and analytical services in accordance with relevant standards and procedures
• Undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys as required
• Carrying out air monitoring and air testing in accordance with relevant standards and procedures
• Undertaking four stage clearance procedures following licensed asbestos removal works
• Carrying out reassurance, background, leak, and personal air monitoring as required
• Conducting visual inspections of asbestos removal areas
• Accurately recording findings and producing clear survey reports, analytical reports, and documentation
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, asbestos removal teams, and other site personnel
• Ensuring equipment is used, maintained, and checked appropriately
• Travelling to various sites and locations as required to complete surveying and analytical work
• Working independently across a range of sites and environments
• Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across all surveying and analytical work
• Following all company health and safety procedures
