Full job description

Restaurant Manager (Part/Full Time)

Between £34k-£45k per year (based on full time 38-45 hours per week) or £18+ per hour (figures quoted inc service charge).

KIN is an independent, pan-Asian restaurant located 5 minutes away from Chancery Lane & Farringdon stations.

  • We are looking for somebody who has a passion for food and hospitality. Prior knowledge in Asian cuisine and wine is a bonus but not a requirement.
  • Looking for someone with a willingness to learn, organised work style, exceptional attention to detail, logical thinker and calm under pressure.
  • This is an ideal role for somebody who is looking to learn and progress quickly. The role would suit somebody who has good restaurant managerial experience.
  • Early finishes by hospitality standards, we typically lock-up at 11pm-11:30pm.
  • Flexible rolling 4-week rotas. We won't ask you to work crazy hours or cancel your leave at short notice. No more finding out about your rota a couple of days in advance.
  • Full time is 38-45 hours per week, 4-4.5 days of work and 2.5-3 days off (we are always closed on weekends and public holidays).
  • Part-time role available with a minimum of 20 hours per week (1.5-2.0 days).

Requirements:

  • You are a great communicator, with a very high level of attention to detail, amazing organisational skills, awareness & self-discipline. The ideal candidate is a people person, a leader and a manager.
  • Ideally you have 12+ months of restaurant managerial experience, preferably in a fast-paced, casual-dining or similar environment. Please note applicants with no managerial experience in hospitality will not be considered (sorry).
  • We are looking for an individual with a great personality/character, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, ability to work under-pressure in a fast paced environment & a good sense of humour.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, is able to structure their day, organise themselves and the team. He/she is confident and proficient with technology and is comfortable at reading. For example, they know how to incorporate AI into their work.
  • We're looking for somebody to start between now and July 2026.
  • Must be comfortable serving alcohol, pork and beef dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage & run the restaurant.
  • Is able to delegate tasks, enjoys training & supporting staff. At KIN, we strongly believe in fostering a learning and supportive environment. Our ideal candidate believes in the importance of training and sharing their experience and knowledge.
  • Cashing up, carrying out stock checks & ordering supplies.
  • Personnel management (e.g. motivating and improving our team).
  • Operational management (e.g. improving the way the business runs).

Pay: £34,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
