Electrical–Electronics Assembly and Service Technician

About the Role

Towercraft UK Ltd is looking for an experienced Electrical–Electronics Assembly and Service Technician to join our London operations team.

You will be responsible for the installation, testing, and servicing of our advanced robotic façade cleaning systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality performance.

This is a field-based role that includes work at various project sites across the UK and occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, and commission Towercraft robotic systems
  • Perform daily operational and safety inspections
  • Identify and repair electrical and electronic faults
  • Support routine and preventive maintenance
  • Prepare reports using digital documentation tools
  • Ensure all work complies with UK HSE and electrical safety standards
  • Liaise with engineering and operations teams for ongoing improvements
  • Assist in the training of new technicians when requiredQualifications & Skills
  • Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service, assembly, or industrial equipment maintenance
  • Knowledge of control panels, automation systems, and low-voltage installations
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
  • Skilled in fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in E-plan or similar electrical design software (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of PLC-based systems
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting skills
  • Working at Heights awareness and full commitment to health and safety
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel nationwide
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
