Shift Manager – The Athenian

The Athenian | Greek Street Food

We’re looking for a hands-on Shift Manager to join our Bristol team. This is a kitchen-based role.

The role

You’ll be responsible for running shifts end-to-end, keeping service tight, the team focused, and customers happy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the team during busy services
  • Open/close the site and run shifts independently
  • Maintain food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness
  • Support training of new starters
  • Deal confidently with customer issues when they arise

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience as a Shift Manager / Supervisor in hospitality
  • Comfortable working under pressure during peak hours
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Reliable, organised, and accountable
  • Flexible availability (evenings & weekends required)
