Assistant Restaurant Manager

INDIdog Eatery – Falmouth Harbour
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

INDIdog Eatery, situated in the heart of Falmouth Harbour, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the continued growth and success of our vibrant restaurant operation.

We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional with a genuine passion for people, outstanding customer service standards, and the leadership skills to inspire a high-performing team. Our ideal candidate puts the customer first, leads by example, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with senior management to oversee all Front of House operations while maintaining a strong partnership with our kitchen team. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, uphold operational standards, and create a positive, energetic workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

· Managing all day-to-day Front of House operations.

· Leading, motivating and developing the FOH team.

· Maintaining excellent communication and collaboration with kitchen operations.

· Supporting bar operations, including service standards and stock control.

· Delivering and overseeing high-quality barista service.

· Ensuring outstanding table service and guest satisfaction at all times.

· Managing staffing levels, rotas, training and performance.

· Handling customer feedback professionally and proactively.

· Maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations and employment legislation.

· Driving a customer-first culture across every aspect of the business.

Essential Requirements

· Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.

· Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.

· Solid understanding of UK employment law and best practice in people management.

· Proven experience managing all Front of House functions.

· Excellent working knowledge of restaurant, bar, and café operations.

· Competent barista skills and confidence behind the bar.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different customer needs and situations.

· A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

· A hands-on approach and willingness to support every area of the business when required.

· Calm, organised, and able to perform under pressure.
