Full job description

Southern Farmers Limited is an Agricultural Buying Cooperative with over 1200 members from the farming community. We require someone to join our existing buying team for 1 years maternity cover. Working as a purchasing assistant as well as adding content to our web site. The role is telephone based with significant liaison required between our members and extensive portfolio of suppliers therefore a pleasant and confident telephone manner is essential. You must be adaptable and happy to perform a variety of tasks including the mundane. You should be computer literate with experience of MS Excel and Word. A background in agriculture is desirable, a lively sense of humour and strength of character necessary! We are based in pleasant rural surroundings near Rolvenden so your own transport will be essential. Start date 1st December 2026

Pay: £26,626.00-£28,446.00 per year
