Full job description

Videographer & Editor

Good Fanz

Location: Orpington (office-based) | Pattern: 4 days in office, including shoot days | Weekends: Required, with TOIL

About the role

Good Fanz is hiring a Videographer & Editor to work closely with the Head of Video Production, executing on key deliverables across multiple brands. You'll be shooting live events, capturing behind-the-scenes content, and turning out high-performing short-form social ads at pace. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move quickly between a matchday touchline and an edit suite without dropping quality.

The role will involve nationwide travel in some instances, working across our brands to translate briefs into scroll-stopping content for Meta, TikTok and other paid social channels, as well as organic content that builds the brand.

What you'll do

  • Shoot and edit short-form social ads (vertical-first) for paid campaigns across Meta and TikTok.
  • Cover live events, including matchdays and brand activations, capturing footage suitable for both same-day social cut-downs and longer-form edits.
  • Manage the full production pipeline: pre-production planning, shoot-day execution, edit, grade, sound and delivery.
  • Turn around content at high volume without compromising on craft — quantity and quality, not one or the other.
  • Collaborate with marketing, partnerships and on-camera talent to bring briefs to life.
  • Maintain a tidy, well-organised media library and project file structure.
  • Look after kit: cameras, lenses, audio, lighting and supporting equipment.

Essential

  • Based within commutable distance of Orpington and able to work 4 days a week in office, including shoot days.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence — non-negotiable, as the role involves travel to shoots and events.
  • Willing and able to travel nationwide for shoots when required.
  • Comfortable with a high-output environment: you understand that social moves fast and volume matters.
  • Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Demonstrable experience producing short-form social ads (vertical, sub-30-second formats).
  • Available to work weekends when shoots require it. Time off in lieu provided.
  • A showreel or portfolio that proves the above.

Desirable

  • Experience shooting live events (sport, music, brand activations or similar).
  • Confidence directing on-camera talent and presenters.
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects or similar).
  • Understanding of what performs on paid social — hooks, pacing, captions, format conventions.
  • Basic colour grading and sound design chops.

What we offer

  • Pension scheme.
  • Company perks package including free cinema tickets, retail vouchers and high-street discounts.
  • Regular team socials and company events.
  • Time off in lieu for weekend shoot days.
  • A creative, fast-moving environment where your work goes live quickly and you see the impact of it.
  • Variety: live events, studio shoots, social ads, branded content — no two weeks the same.
  • The chance to build a body of work across multiple consumer brands.

How to apply

Send a CV and a link to your showreel or portfolio. Examples of short-form social ads and event coverage are particularly useful — we're more interested in seeing the work than reading about it.
