Position: Mobile Microsuction Specialist

Location: Watford, Luton, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Letchworth Garden City, Hemel Hempstead, Enfield, Potters Bar, Aylesbury, Borehamwood, Milton Keynes & High Wycombe (All locations surrounding Watford)

Employment Type: Full-Time (45 hours per week)

Working Days: Wednesday to Sunday

Working Hours: Between 08:30 AM & 08:00 PM with the combination of 2 to 3 locations per day including paid travel time in between clinics

Salary: £27,000 per annum +£2,000 travel allowance

Role Overview

The Microsuction Specialist plays a critical role in providing high-quality microsuction ear wax removal services, engaging with patients, conducting screening tests, and supporting clinic administration. This role requires flexibility to travel between multiple clinic locations in the Hertfordshire area, ensuring that patient care and clinic operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform microsuction ear wax removal procedures.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments and screening tests.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinic administration tasks.
  • Ensure clinics are organised and adequately stocked.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and patient care.
  • Support the overall running of hearing care services.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to maintain high standards of care.
  • Assist with any additional tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Qualifications in Audiology or a related healthcare field.
  • Proven experience as a practitioner in a clinical or medical setting.
  • Experience performing medical procedures such as phlebotomy, ear irrigation, wound care.
  • Valid driving license and access to own car.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel all locations surrounding Watford.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Desirable:

  • Certification in microsuction and ear wax removal.
  • Experience in audiology or ear care.

Personal Specification

  • Demonstrated experience as a practitioner in a clinical or medical setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
