Job Title – Purchasing Administrator

Reporting To – Purchasing & Financial Supervisor

Hours of Work - 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday; 8am-3pm Fridays

Salary/Wage - £ Neg

Sabeti Wain Aerospace Ltd is a multi-national Company leading the field within the Design & Supply of soft furnishings for Commercial Airlines.

As a busy expanding Company, we require Administrators to join our Purchasing Team.

Note: this is not an Accounts or Financial vacancy and no accounting/finance responsibilities are included in this position.

Main duties will include :

  • Raising & issuing Supplier Purchase Orders as required & in-line with regulatory requirements.
  • Processing PO requests made directly by Departments & Teams within Sabeti UK, UAE, and USA Facilities.
  • Joint responsibility for stock check & ordering of Head Office Cleaning supplies, Stationery and Printer Cartridge recycling requirements
  • Following up with suppliers to ensure PO is received and dates confirmed, including progress chasing to check on-time deliveries.
  • Liaising with suppliers & Sabeti sites to resolve invoice issues which may arise relating to the order deliveries, pricing or part queries. Returning invoices to the Accounts Team for processed once resolved.
  • Continual updates to Department Spreadsheets to ensure PO & process tracking, alongwith regular meetings with the Purchasing Team.
  • Communicating with Shipping Team to arrange collection of supplier orders.
  • Providing help and assistance with any other Purchasing office duties as and when required.

This position requires the following skills & abilities :

  • Full understanding of deadlines and the ability to prioritise
  • Attention to detail is a must, alongwith good organisational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of Sage50 Accounts would be advantageous but training will be given
  • Excellent communication skills – in both written and spoken English
  • Willing to take responsibility for allocated tasks and actions, be able to work on own initiative as well as being a valuable member of our busy team
