Camper Van Conversion Specialist – Accessories, Windows & 12v Systems

DC Conversions, part of DC Leisure Group Ltd – proudly named Van Conversion Company of the Year 2025– are specialists in high-quality, bespoke camper van conversions. Based in Runcorn, Cheshire, we’re looking for an experienced Camper Van Conversion Specialist who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-standard workshop.

About the role:
We need a practical, skilled individual who can confidently carry out a range of installations from day one, including rock-n-roll beds, external accessories (awnings, bike racks, roof rails, ladders), and 12v/240v electrical and solar systems. You’ll also be expected to interact directly with customers during handovers, explaining systems clearly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install campervan components: rock n roll beds, windows, flooring, insulation, carpet lining, elevating roofs, etc.
• Fit external accessories: awnings, bike racks, roof racks, side bars, alloy wheels, tow bars
• Carry out 12v/240v electrical wiring, LED lighting, solar panels, diesel/gas heaters, and water systems
• Manufacture and fit internal furniture, kitchens, and utilities
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and a clean, safe workspace
• Collaborate with the team, but also work independently with confidence and initiative
• Carry out fault finding and resolve practical issues as they arise
• Deliver customer handovers, demonstrating installed systems and answering questions clearly

What we’re looking for:

• Someone ready to hit the ground running – this is not a trainee role
• Proven experience in campervan, motorhome, boat, or coach building
• Strong hands-on skills across mechanical, electrical, and joinery tasks
• Excellent knowledge of 12v electrical and gas/water systems
• Able to use hand and power tools confidently
• Positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and takes pride in producing top-quality work
• Full clean UK driving licence required
• NCC Qualification is a bonus but not essential

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Alternate Saturdays required, with hours taken back during the week or paid overtime.
• Occasional Trade Events

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
