Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motorhome Service Technician to join our team as part of our new Workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients, carrying out Habitation Checks and fitting equipment to customer motorhomes. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing our own motorhomes which are hired out. Experience in role is vital and the candidate should hold the relevant industry qualifications although further training can be offered.

Duties

• Carrying out Annual Habitation Checks on customer motorhomes in accordance to industry guidelines
• Installation of accessories such as Awning, bike racks, TV aerials etc
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their needs and the services provided.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and client interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to the role.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence.
• Relevant certifications and industry qualifications (NCC Motorhome Service Award, Gas and Electrical Maintenance is the absolute minimum requirement)
• Ideally experience with working on Truma, ALDE, Sargent, Thetford and Dometic systems and the relevant training (additonal training can be arranged if required).

Pay: £28,500.00-£34,500.00 per year
