Head of Sales & Installation – Shutters & Blinds | OTE £50,000–£100,000 | Peterborough

Stilton Shutters & Blinds is Peterborough's specialist in made-to-measure shutters, blinds, curtains and awnings. Our order book is growing and we need a mature, experienced, commercially sharp all-rounder to lead our sales and installation team. Appointments are booked for you: warm customers who have already asked us to visit.

The role

Attend pre-booked in-home appointments and convert them into signed orders

Survey and measure made-to-measure products with zero errors

Enter accurate orders and specifications into our systems (Pipedrive, Xero)

Order from and negotiate with suppliers across shutters, blinds, curtains and awnings

Coach, manage and hold accountable the sales, survey and fitting team

Keep scheduling, fitting and after-sales tightly organised

What you'll earn

This is a commission-led role. Structure to be discussed at interview.

Commission on your own sales

Team commission on the team's total sales

Bonus linked to fit quality, on-time installs and operational effectiveness

Quarterly business performance bonus

Profit share

Realistic OTE of £50,000–£100,000, depending on performance

Who we're looking for

Proven face-to-face or in-home selling with strong sales technique

Track record of leading a team

Strong systems skills (CRM, quoting, ordering) and ultra-organised

Confident supplier negotiation

Meticulous attention to detail: in this trade a wrong measurement costs real money

Mature, self-managing and results-driven

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle

Bonus: experience of shutters, blinds or other made-to-measure products
