Job Description

Information Tech Consultants Ltd is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in London. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build, automate, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python or Bash.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
  • Follow cloud security and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in AWS Cloud or DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Good knowledge of Linux administration and Git.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
