Inclusion Teacher (SEND) – Temporary to Permanent
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Contract Type: Full-time (Temp to Perm)
Salary: From £150 per day (with progression to teacher salary upon permanent placement)
Start Date: September 2026

Axcis Education is recruiting a resilient and proactive Inclusion Teacher to support pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour within a supportive primary school in Rugby.

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity starting in September, ideal for someone looking to secure a long-term teaching position within an inclusive and nurturing school environment.

The Role:

  • Lead targeted support for pupils with SEND, including those with challenging behaviour
  • Deliver adapted lessons and interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Implement behaviour plans and positive reinforcement strategies
  • Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs
  • Work closely with the SENCO and wider staff team to plan and differentiate learning
  • Promote emotional regulation, engagement, and social development
  • Create and maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience teaching within SEND/inclusion settings
  • Strong experience supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
  • Calm, consistent, and confident approach to behaviour management
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of additional needs
  • A committed team player with excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about inclusive education and making a lasting impact
