Join ACTIA (UK) Ltd and help shape the future of connected vehicles

ACTIA (UK) Ltd is looking for a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our growing team. You’ll be working at the forefront of connected telematics and vehicle diagnostics, developing innovative solutions used across commercial vehicles and the wider automotive sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, agile team where your ideas matter, your work has real impact, and you can develop your career in a rapidly evolving industry.

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with the Diagnostics and Connected Services Business Manager, you will:

  • Design and develop telematics and vehicle diagnostic applications, alongside cloud-connected services
  • Contribute to project planning and provide regular progress updates
  • Produce clear and structured technical design documentation
  • Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement of solutions

What we’re looking for.

We’re open to candidates at different career stages—whether you’re an experienced developer, a technical lead, or a recent graduate with strong foundations.

Key skills and experience:

  • Degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience with C# and the Microsoft .NET framework (or similar technologies)
  • Knowledge of both server-side and client-side web application development
  • Experience with ASP.NET and Microsoft Azure environments
  • UI/UX development for Windows desktop applications
  • Understanding of modern development principles: OOP, UML, Design Patterns, Agile, and SOLID
