We are seeking a motivated vegetation management operative to join our dynamic team. If you have a can-do attitude, strong teamwork skills, and the necessary qualifications, we’d love to hear from you!

We carry out a range of highway work throughout the UK. Candidates must have industry experience and hold the necessary NPTC and LANTRA certifications.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Monday to Friday: 7.00Pm - 4.00AM (night shfits)

Daily Duties and Responsibilities

  • Highway roles:
  • Use machinery to a safe, efficient standard.
  • Conduct safe and efficient tree/vegetation removals.
  • Undertake cyclic work to a excellent standard.
  • Equipment Management:
  • Inspect, maintain, and ensure the safe use of all climbing and cutting equipment.
  • Operate woodchippers and other machinery following safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
  • Assist with ground operations, including clearing debris and managing site cleanliness.
  • Support team members in climbing and rescue operations as needed.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to company and industry safety standards at all times.
  • Conduct site risk assessments and ensure safe working practices.
  • Participate in regular drug and alcohol testing to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns on-site to ensure satisfaction.

Essential Criteria

  • Valid UK driving license
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
  • CSCS Card
  • NPTC CS30/31 (Chainsaw Maintenance and Felling)
  • Brushcutter

Desirable Criteria

  • Robo flail
  • Woodchipper Operations Certification
