Full job description

Role: Spanish-Speaking Rota Nanny (Live-Out)

Care for: B2 years & B6 years

Location: Chelsea, London

Schedule: 7:00am – 7:00pm | 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Salary: £70,000 gross per annum

Start Date: ASAP

A warm and welcoming family based in Chelsea are seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking Rota Nanny to care for their two boys, aged two and six years old. This is a live-out position working on a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rota, with working hours from 7:00am to 7:00pm during working weeks.

The family are looking for a calm, grounded, and warm nanny who can provide a nurturing and structured environment for both children. You will be responsible for the children’s day-to-day care, routines, wellbeing, and development, confidently balancing the differing needs of a toddler and a school-aged child.

You will support the youngest child with his routines, activities, and developmental milestones, while also assisting the older child with school routines, homework support, and age-appropriate activities. The role will involve planning engaging outings, encouraging learning through play, and creating a positive and emotionally supportive atmosphere within the home.

Nursery duties relating to the children will also form part of the role, including children’s laundry, keeping their areas organised, and ensuring routines run smoothly throughout the day. The family are looking for someone proactive, organised, and confident working independently, whilst also maintaining open and communicative relationships with the parents.

Fluency in Spanish is essential, as the family would love the nanny to speak Spanish naturally with the children throughout the day to support bilingual language development.

The family would ideally love someone with childcare qualifications; however, they are equally open to candidates with exceptionally strong experience, excellent instincts, and a high level of emotional intelligence.

This role would suit an experienced nanny who is naturally calm, emotionally attuned, and genuinely enjoys being actively involved in children’s lives and development. The family are interviewing now and are open to a flexible start date.

Pay: £70,000.00 per year
