Part time position

Job description:
We are looking for a friendly individual to get involved with our bakery, an opportunity to work within the doh'hut, things in bread/ BAKE family - we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, great food and great coffee.

The job will include welcoming and serving our friendly customers, building customer relations, making sure service area is clean and tidy, to work well within the team, and assist our bakers with daily tasks. Positive, down to earth, hard working grafters to join our strong team!

We thrive and work hard in our casual and fun, yet professional work place. Full training will be provided but experience within hospitality & barista trained is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Meeting and greeting customers

- Taking orders and card payments

- Making coffees and other hot beverages to a high standard including latte art

- Helping to keep the bakery clean and organised

- Ensure venue is set up and ready for service, and cleaned down to a high standard at the end of service.

- Assist bakers with food preparation

Requirements

- Work in a kind and professional manner towards customers and your team

- Barista trained and experience within hospitality (we will ask you to do a coffee test in your interview)

- Great customer service skills

- Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail

- High standards of cleanliness in line with H&S requirements and knowledge of food safety regulations/ procedures

- Ability to work well within the team and communicate, whilst also using your own initiative and be able to prioritise tasks

- Be happy to get stuck in and help with any task

- Must be available to work weekends and have a flexible schedule
