Summary

As a Domiciliary Care Worker – Bank Staff, you’ll support people in their own homes with care suited to their individual needs. Your impact: attentive, reliable support can help service users feel safer and more comfortable in their daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in service users’ homes.
• Support people with daily living needs while respecting their preferences and dignity.
• Assist with meal preparation where needed.
• Support safe medication administration where required and within your role.
• Observe and communicate changes in a service user’s needs to the appropriate people.

Requirements

• Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
• Please note: We are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship, including Skilled Worker sponsorship. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship from Eleanor Nursing and Social Care.
• Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
• Must attend and successfully complete a full four-day induction training course.
• Must provide references from previous employers.
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Sidcup and the surrounding areas.
• Must be available during core hours: 07:00–14:00 and 16:00–22:00.
• Must be reliable, punctual and committed to delivering high-quality care.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are (preferred but not essential).

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are calm, patient, hardworking, reliable and resourceful. You should be able to maintain professionalism, use your initiative and remain composed in challenging situations.

Previous professional care experience is beneficial but not essential. Experience supporting a relative or another vulnerable person can also be valuable.

This is a bank position, offering flexible working opportunities based on service requirements. Availability during mornings, evenings and weekends is particularly valuable.
