Full job description

Calvary Day Nursery (formally called Greatfield's Day Nursery) is set up and run by Calvary Baptist Church who believe nursery life should be an extension of the family home.

  • Minimum 30 hours a week
  • Work (on site) and remote mentoring
  • 14 month duration
  • Endless progression opportunities from Nursery Room Leader to Au pair.
  • Monday to Fridays!
  • Taking part in First Aid training as required
  • Essential Requirements – GCSE Maths and English C or 4, or an equivalent (Functional Skills level 2) and some additional alternatives will apply.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

  • Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
  • Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
  • Being a team player.
  • Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
  • Working with teams across the nursery setting
  • Supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
