Food & Beverage Supervisor

Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our friendly team at The Pheasant Inn, a charming country inn nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside and part of the award-winning Nelson Hotels & Inns group.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant and bar while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You'll lead by example during service, support and motivate the team, and help maintain the high standards that make The Pheasant Inn a destination for outstanding hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising food and beverage service across the restaurant and bar
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of service
  • Assisting with team training, development, and performance
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety compliance
  • Supporting stock control and maintaining efficient operational standards
  • Leading shifts and acting as a point of contact for team members and guests

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, food and beverage, or restaurant operations
  • Is passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Has strong leadership and communication skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example
  • Is flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
  • Has reliable transport due to our rural location and limited public transport links
