Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard working Bar Supervisor who can oversee and run daily operations within our business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding on drink quality, cocktail understanding and presentation and safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in a vibrant day and nightlife environment.

Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of bartenders and bar staff.
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked with supplies, including beverages, garnishes, and equipment.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory checks.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and handle complaints or issues promptly.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests.
  • Support staff in busy periods to ensure efficient service.
  • Manage daily cash reconciliations, sales reporting, and stock control.
  • Monitor beverage costs and wastage to meet budget targets.
  • Order and receive stock, checking deliveries against invoices.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule bartenders and glass collectors.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address any staffing issues.
  • Ensure all staff follow licensing laws and company policies.
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol licensing laws.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to maintain safety and functionality.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
