*Job Overview*

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a restaurant setting, this role is perfect for you.

We have been open for nearly 18 months now and in our 1st year year were nominated best pub in York!

We sell LOTS of cocktails since going viral on Instagram so this will be a huge part of the role to learn our menu with training included.

Experience is not required but a willingness to learn the role and get stuck in is as our team is epic! We are only hiring as we have 6 - 3rd year students leaving us as we have a low leavers rate otherwise which we are super proud of.

Please also let us know if you have kitchen experience.

This is in a heavily tourist area with a very British vibe where we want to people to have the friendly pub experience in York

*Duties*

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patrons with their orders and queries

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks

- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with food safety regulations

- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service

- Assist in restocking bar supplies and inventory management

*Requirements*

- Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant industry is advantageous

- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively

- Knowledge of bartending techniques and basic maths for handling payments

- Familiarity with food safety practices is desirable

- Willingness to learn and help colleagues during peak hours
