Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional part time Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within our establishment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy socialising and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks efficiently.
• Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, special offers, and relevant food safety regulations.
• Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible drinking practices are followed.
• Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service experiences.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
• Experience in serving or working behind a bar is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. Pay: £12.16-£14.24 per hour
