Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our independent restaurant. Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in supervising daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff including servers, bartenders, cooks, and kitchen personnel to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, bartending, and serving activities to maintain consistency and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and food production procedures across all departments.
• Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies; coordinate procurement processes to optimize stock levels.
• Implement training programs focused on customer service excellence, and safety protocols.
• Monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for guests and fostering a positive team culture.
• Support marketing initiatives and special events to increase patronage and brand loyalty.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, bartending, and serving within a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff members effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills combined with leadership qualities that inspire confidence among team members.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certifications related to food safety or culinary arts are advantageous but not mandatory.
