Job Summary

As Bar Staff, you’ll provide friendly, attentive service and help create a welcoming experience for guests. You’ll prepare and serve drinks, support food service and keep the bar area clean, organised and ready for service. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help maintain smooth service during busy periods and respond courteously to guest requests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails where required, following house procedures and food safety practices.
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks accurately, and check that guests have what they need.
  • Keep bar and service areas clean, replenish supplies and handle glassware safely.
  • Use basic maths to process orders and payments accurately, and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Your impact: attentive, timely service helps guests enjoy their visit and enables colleagues to keep service running smoothly.

Experience

Required: Practical hospitality skills, including serving, basic maths, time management and a careful approach to food safety, will help you deliver accurate, efficient service. Preferred: Bartending ability and restaurant experience are advantageous, along with a friendly manner, clear communication and confidence working as part of a team.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
