Bar & Restaurant Manager

Nineteen Kitchen & Bar – Poulton-le-Fylde
Full-Time | Competitive Salary | Career Progression

Following the continued success of Nineteen Kitchen & Bar in Garstang, we're excited to be opening our second venue in the heart of Poulton-le-Fylde.

We're looking for an exceptional Bar & Restaurant Manager to lead our new team from the very beginning. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in an ambitious, growing independent business where your ideas, leadership and passion will genuinely make a difference.

At Nineteen, we're all about delivering fantastic food, exceptional drinks and warm, genuine hospitality in a stylish yet relaxed environment. We believe in creating memorable experiences for our guests whilst building a workplace where our team enjoy coming to work.

If you're a passionate hospitality professional who thrives on leading people, delivering outstanding service and driving business success, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As Bar & Restaurant Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our new Poulton-le-Fylde venue, ensuring every guest receives the high standards that have made our Garstang venue so successful.

You'll lead, inspire, and develop your team, creating a positive culture where people feel valued, motivated, and supported to grow.

Working closely with the owner, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of the restaurant while helping drive the continued expansion of the Nineteen brand.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the team by example every day.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Recruiting, training and developing a high-performing team.
  • Managing labour, rotas and staffing levels efficiently.
  • Driving sales while maintaining excellent standards of service and presentation.
  • Monitoring stock, ordering and controlling costs.
  • Ensuring all health & safety and food hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Building a positive, energetic culture where the team can thrive.
  • Working alongside the owner to continually improve and grow the business.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Bar & Restaurant Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to take the next step.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and people.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of driving sales and profitability.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods.

Why Join Nineteen?

We're not a large corporate chain with layers of management and endless processes.

We're a family-run independent business with ambitious plans for the future.

Joining us now means becoming part of our journey from an early stage, giving you the opportunity to grow alongside the business and genuinely influence its success. Your voice will be heard, your contribution will be recognised and your career can develop as we continue to expand.

We believe great hospitality starts with a great team, and we're committed to creating an environment where people feel supported, respected and proud of what they do.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary.
  • Company pension.
  • Paid holiday.
  • Ongoing training and development.
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business grows.
  • The chance to lead the opening of an exciting new venue.
  • A supportive, family-run working environment where hard work is recognised and rewarded.
