About Us

Madame Vy is a modern Vietnamese restaurant and bar known for vibrant flavours, warm hospitality, and a lively cocktail culture. We’re looking for a talented Head Bartender with strong cocktail skills to lead our bar, elevate guest experience, and help shape our drinks offering.

Job Summary

As Head Bartender, you will take ownership of the bar’s daily operations, deliver exceptional cocktails, maintain high standards of service, and support the development of our bar team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone confident, creative, and experienced in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the bar during service with confidence and professionalism.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits to a high standard.
  • Maintain consistency in recipes, presentation, and speed.
  • Manage bar prep: syrups, garnishes, juices, batching.
  • Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar support staff.
  • Ensure stock rotation, ordering, and waste control.
  • Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards.
  • Engage warmly with guests and provide recommendations.
  • Support management with cocktail development and seasonal menus.

Requirements

  • Strong cocktail experience (shaking, stirring, building, batching)
  • Confident working with fresh ingredients, herbs, and Asian flavours
  • Ability to lead a bar team during busy service
  • Excellent communication and guest interaction skills
  • Good knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and beer
  • Ability to work cleanly, quickly, and efficiently
  • Experience in high‑volume or premium cocktail bars (preferred)
