We currently have a great opportunity for someone to join our Food Beverage Team as Restaurant Bar Manager. You will be responsible for the efficient operational delivery of the restaurant and bars to the Hotel’s high standards and the expectations of our guests. Along with the support you would expect from our Food Beverage team, you will have a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow these important functions, in line with your own and the Hotel’s aspirations to be a world-class hospitality destination.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the restaurant and bar operation across multiple sites, meeting guest expectations and supporting the Hotel’s 5-year plan.
• Ensure the FB team delivers exemplary hospitality at all times.
• Ensure food and drink are served promptly and to the Hotel’s standards.
• With the Co-Lead FB Manager, set targets, rotas, budgets, policies and procedures aligned to the Hotel’s 5-year plan.
• Manage, coach, train and develop the restaurant and bar team to build capability, performance and engagement.
• With the Co-Lead FB Manager, introduce initiatives that enhance the guest experience and generate additional revenue.
• Ensure the team has up-to-date knowledge of Hotel products, services, pricing and policies, and of the local area.
• Protect and improve profit by monitoring waste and breakages and taking corrective action.
• Maximise revenue through accurate billing at all times.
• Coach the team to maximise upselling in a discreet, professional way.

About you:

You will be an influential, guest and team-focused individual who has the necessary experience and successful track record of achievement at this level, within a similar standard hotel or hospitality establishment. You will be a highly organised forward planner and be able to accomplish the workload of the team by effective delegation.
