Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assisstant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The Assisstant Manager will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth running of all restaurant activities.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling and task delegation
• Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of beverages and food items
• Lead by example in serving customers efficiently and courteously, fostering a positive atmosphere
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
• Train new staff members in service procedures, food safety, and hospitality best practices
• Organise promotional events or themed nights to attract customers and enhance their experience
• Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between bar service and food deliveryRequirements
• Proven management or supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Extensive knowledge of , serving, cocktail preparation techniques
• Experience in restaurant environments
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
• Previous experience as a barista or in bar management is advantageous
