Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Bar Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while supervising all aspects of bar operations.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery
  • Assist with the training and development of team members in hospitality best practices
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to prevent shortages
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
  • Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote excellent customer service
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences to guests

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
  • Experience in serving beverages and understanding of bar operations, including barista experience preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry regulations and health & safety protocols
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable
