Full job description

Term: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 30 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, including evenings and weekends.

Location: Fletcher's Sports Bar and Beer Garden, Allerton Manor Golf Club, Liverpool, L18 3JT

We are currently recruiting for a talented and dedicated Assistant Bar Manager for Fletcher's Sports Bar and Beer Garden at Allerton Manor Golf Club.

Set in the beautiful grounds of Allerton Manor Golf Club, Fletcher's Sports Bar and Beer Garden is a stylish bar and a perfect cosy getaway, which is also open for a variety of events.

The successful candidate will need to assist the Fletcher's Manager with ensuring that the food and beverage function operates smoothly and efficiently throughout service, while maintaining a high level of customer experience.

The successful candidate should be a committed natural leader with strong man management skills, the ability to build a rapport with clients and staff alike and set the standards to sustain effort to achieve exceptional customer service.

They will also need to be capable of developing a diverse team, by leading from the front, to act as a role model for the staff by showing a commercial awareness and a strong desire to succeed. This is a “Hands On” role and you must have the stamina and ability to work flexible hours, under pressure and make decisions.

Additional Information:

Due to licensing laws all applicants must be 18 or over. Previous experience working in a similar position in pubs/bars/restaurants is essential. Banqueting experience dealing with high volume covers is desirable.

Proof of eligibility to work within the UK is required and applicants must live within easy travelling distance from Allerton Manor Golf Club.
