Overview
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and food service, whether you have previous experience or are eager to develop your skills in a vibrant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation. Barista, restaurant and bar experience are also valued assets and will be an advantage.

Duties

  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with food safety standards
  • Take orders accurately and process transactions promptly
  • Support catering events by setting up and clearing tables, serving guests, and ensuring smooth operations
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
  • Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
  • Uphold health and safety regulations at all times during service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
  • Experience as a barista or in restaurant environments is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings if necessary
  • A genuine interest in food, beverages, and delivering outstanding customer service
