Responsibilities

• Serve a variety of drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in a timely manner
• Take orders and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance customer experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and safety within the premises
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
• Lone working and as part of the team

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success
• Must be aged 18 or over in accordance with licensing laws
• Must be able to work late nights and weekends

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
