Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties

  • Serve beverages and food items to customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area according to food safety standards
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
  • Restock bar supplies as needed, ensuring stock levels are maintained throughout shifts
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables or seating areas when required
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any queries or concerns promptly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
