Experienced Server - Full Time

£13.50 per hour + service charge

Paris Wine Bar is an established independent wine bar and restaurant in the heart of Hove, known for exceptional service, great food, and an extensive wine selection.

We are currently looking for an experienced and professional Server to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences, and is comfortable working across both restaurant floor service and bar service in a busy, fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate must have:

  • Previous restaurant AND bar experience
  • Previous waiter/waitress experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Previous bar experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, energetic attitude
  • Availability to work a minimum of 5 days per week which will include evenings and weekends
  • Please note - working weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) is essential

Wine knowledge is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is equally important.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming and seating guests
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Serving food, wine, cocktails, beers and spirits
  • Providing knowledgeable menu and wine recommendations
  • Supporting bar operations when required
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Ensuring every guest receives attentive and professional service
