Full job description

The Garrick Bar in Belfast City Centre is looking to recruit Full Time & Part Time Bar Tenders (minimum of 2 shifts per week)

Applicants should have a least 1 year of recent bar experience & experience in serving food.

Successful applicants must be flexible and available to work evenings & weekends.

A CV must be submitted showing relevant experience including reference contact details.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders and serve beverages to customers according to established recipes and standards
- Prepare and serve food items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and equipment
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or bartending is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
