Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, delivering excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess good organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service of alcohol
  • Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service at all times

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or a similar customer-facing role is desirable
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Good time management to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
