Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Clubhouse Server to provide exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves basic food prep such as making sandwiches serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the bar clubhouse, and changing rooms area. The role will be for a keyholder who must in time be comfortable opening and closing for service. Previous experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment is preferred, but not essential. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service. Hours are seasonal with increased hours during summer months.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately for food and beverages
• Serve drinks and meals in accordance with safety standards and company policies
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during preparation and service
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and clubhouse, including but not limited to clearing tables and sanitising surfaces
• Manage cash transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system
• Setting up and closing down the bar area at the start and end of shifts
• Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment for all patrons
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure availability of beverages and utensils

Skills- preferred

• Proven experience in hospitality or serving roles within a restaurant or club environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in beverage service
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Good understanding of basic maths for handling bills, payments, and tips
• Effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• A courteous attitude towards guests, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all visitors

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
